let’s change the definition of “transmisogyny” to mean the specifically insidious brand of misogyny committed by males who think they are women
that way it would be defining something that actually exists

Also misogyny does not apply to male people (including transwomen) the because the ‘gyn’ in misogyny does not refer to them. The word misogyny never referred to hatred of male people (no matter how they though of themselves).

Besides I know radfems can claim trans activists co-option of the term used to describe the hatred and contempt of women (adult human female people).

Yeah that’s how I reacted when I see men who ‘identify’ as women harass threaten women online for not believing in their nonsense (seriosuly check out those blogs I linked).
Misogyny applies to women/female people not transwomen/males. There is a long history of misogyny and that history is not shared between women/female people and transwomen/males.
It is disrespectful to women/female people and just plain disingenuous for transwomen/males to co-opt the term misogyny and distort what it means (the hatred and contempt of women/female people) to their co-option trans activists use.

Biological sex is innate and unchangeable regardless of identity or transitioning.

Transmen are female people and are subject sexism, misogyny even after they transition. (This topic needs to be expanded but I’ll leave it at this for now).
Some radfems have suggested claiming the term ‘trans misogyny‘ and using it to refer to the hostility and discrimination directed at transmen (who are female) which unfortunately often comes from transwomen and other gender identity believers.

No transwomen are male if they were female and women they would be what trans ideology refers to as ‘cisgender‘.
