porn is inherently non-consensual sex because it is being bought. if you have to be paid in order to perform sexual acts, you are not giving authentic consent. take away the money and all of the employed women would not be anywhere near the porn industry.

LMAO radfems talking over sex workers.
Lap dances are a sex act, and I consent to them on my own terms. My own terms, of course, being money.
Fuck you for comparing sexual assault (which I’ve experienced) to my job. You are clueless, gross, and despicable.

LMAO radfems talking over sex workers.

many radfems have been in the sex industry and they know that it wasn’t actually on their terms.

Lap dances are a sex act, and I consent to them on my own terms. My own terms, of course, being money.

No you consent to them under the terms you’ve been given.

The men with the disposable income and the club who sets the rules and enforces them are in control not you.

Fuck you for comparing sexual assault (which I’ve experienced) to my job. You are clueless, gross, and despicable.

I’ve been sexually assaulted before and survivor to survivor fuck you for being so arrogant to think this is all about you personally.

Are YOU a sex worker??? Because your opinion is so fucking irrelevant.
You are acting like the second a customer whips out a $20 bill, I have lost all control of my autonomy. You are under the mindset that my most misogynistic customers are under: that as soon as money is involved, I’m helpless. There are no refunds, no “customer is always right” bullshit in sex work. I can get paid upfront and then literally not touch them. I can do extras. I can meet somewhere in the middle. But whatever I do, I have to consent to it, and it’s not just money. Money is only ONE of the terms of consent. We get offered money to do extra shit we can’t/won’t do all the time and you know what? We have every right to turn it down, because there’s going to be someone else in the club who will pay you just as much or more for what you are comfortable with.
Do you realize how gross and patronizing it is to tell me, and countless amounts of other sex workers, what is and isn’t consensual? I’ve been assaulted at work, as have countless other swers, but it is NOT the same as our consensual acts.
Stop infantilizing and patronizing us. You’re not a sex worker. You are not relevant to the conversation. Shut. The. Fuck. Up. The only arrogant one here is you, quit embarrassing yourself.

Are YOU a sex worker??? Because your opinion is so fucking irrelevant.

I’m a woman and this bullshit affects us all so stop with the bullshit.

You
are acting like the second a customer whips out a $20 bill, I have lost
all control of my autonomy.

Who feels feels entitled to pay for sexual services?

Who has the disposable income?

Who has to perform sexual acts for an income?

You are under the mindset that my most
misogynistic customers are under: that as soon as money is involved, I’m
helpless.

Your status is dependent on what the club allows not what you allow. The sooner you realise this the better.

Also misogyny means hatred and contempt of women and knowing you are not actually in control of the situation is not misogyny.

There are no refunds, no “customer is always right” bullshit
in sex work.

So does the club get a cut?

Do you have to tip?

I can get paid upfront and then literally not touch them.

But they offer more if you do what they want.

I
can do extras. I can meet somewhere in the middle. But whatever I do, I
have to consent to it, and it’s not just money.

Your consent is compromised because of the obvious power imbalance.

Money is only ONE of
the terms of consent. We get offered money to do extra shit we
can’t/won’t do all the time and you know what?
We have every right to
turn it down, because there’s going to be someone else in the club who
will pay you just as much or more for what you are comfortable with.

What are the consequences if you turn it down?

Do
you realize how gross and patronizing it is to tell me, and countless
amounts of other sex workers, what is and isn’t consensual?

Do you realise how patronising it is to hear women who claim to be ‘sex workers‘ (pimps can call themselves ‘sex workers’ btw) ignore  what other women in the sex trade are saying about the reality of the situation.

I have seen girls like you who were lured into ‘sex work’ tumblr slowly realise that they’ve been duped and they’ve been sold out by false ideals like ‘agency’.

I’ve been
assaulted at work, as have countless other swers, but it is NOT the same
as our consensual acts.

In what other job does this happen?

Because none of my jobs put me at risk for sexual assault.

Stop infantilizing and patronizing us.
You’re not a sex worker. You are not relevant to the conversation. Shut.
The. Fuck. Up. The only arrogant one here is you, quit embarrassing
yourself.

No I’m going to keep on pointing out how the power imbalances don’t actually work in your favour and how this is going to cause you a lot of damage.

It isn’t a job like any other and you need to realise that this is not a good situation.
