Gamer Gaters are still butthurt about Zoe Quin and justify the misogynist abuse campaign they waged against feminists based on the accusation that she cheated on some guy who wrote an article accusing her of sleeping with multiple men which set gamers and neckbeards into burn the witch mode and lasted for months. We still have to deal with the damage they did years after the mob moved onto the next trend. Which was a more general anti feminist campaign and they have never stopped.
I want to know if the accusation held any truth.

I know it shouldn’t matter because this was a personal problem and the accusations should never have been published and it shouldn’t have been politicised but it matter because we have to deal with aftermath of something we couldn’t control.
If she did cheat then we will be hung with her even though it had nothing to do with us.
If she didn’t cheat then her ex boyfriend’s paranoia was enough to start a witch hunt.
Knowing whether or not she cheated with men in the gaming industry to get ahead changes the narrative and we need to have a defence either way even though we didn’t have anything to do with Zoe Quin and her jealous ex boyfriend.
Women get blamed for things we didn’t do and/or can’t control all the time. We should known so we understand the nature of this male retaliation and prepare ourselves for the bullshit.
It doesn’t matter to gamer gaters whether she cheated or not because we will have to suffer the consequences.
