do you hate men or

well, I’ve never raped a man. never beaten one bloody. never trapped one in a relationship by making him fear for his life or the safety of his children. I’ve never killed a man for rejecting my sexual advances or  burned down a house with a man in it because he broke up with me. I’ve never mutilated a man’s penis to prevent him from ever experiencing sexual pleasure. I’ve never thrown acid on a man as punishment for rejecting me or dishonoring his family. I’ve never broken a small boy’s bones to mold his body into a more aesthetically pleasing shape, essentially crippling him in the process. I’ve never bought or sold a man’s body. I’ve never advocated that men should be legally obliged to impregnate women against their will. I’ve never denied a man a career opportunity because of his penis.

so no, I guess I don’t hate men. certainly not as much as men hate women.

This right here. Men have always hated and committed violence towards us for no other reason than just for existing as women. Women hate men for their contempt and violence towards us since the beginning of time. No comparison, yet men and their handmaidens constantly try to make one anyways.

And how is “feminism” helping this?

Getting violent men named and shamed and put in a cage where they belong

look, if you cannot be in public barefaced without being self-conscious & feeling like shit, then your decision to wear makeup is not a choice freely made

Im sorry but: this post is bullshit

what part of it? do you have an argument against it, or just a knee-jerk reaction due to cognitive dissonance?

Whatever, I’m not even gonna bother arguing with someone who doesn’t even support all women in the first place. Sort out yourself, then we can discuss this.

okay, so cognitive dissonance then 👍

Okay, so bigot👍

Exposed antisemite

Lmaooo she changed her tags

@amyisacinnamonroll thinks criticising make up is like invading Poland

I am sorry that we are bigoted against make up. I will go into the nearest department store and apologise to the make up display

I will then ceremonially apply mascara and cry so the mascara will run down my face

I will look like an emo by the time I have finished apologising

“Feminists think that men can’t be raped and women are always victims!”

They see it this way because we are finally addressing a crime that primarily happens to women, naming the perpetrators and refusing to pretend that patterns don’t exist. Acknowledging the fact that most rapists are male doesn’t change the fact that men also get raped and that women can also be rapists. We discuss rape in gendered language because it IS a gendered crime collectively. But if you’re an individualist, you’re always going to perceive this as “feminists hate men and think they can’t be raped” because it doesn’t cater to your individual outlier experience, which is the only lense through which you analyze society because you’re an idiot narcissist.

i was watching testimonies by survivors of sex trafficking, and a lot of them talk about how their captors referred to them as “sex workers” and kept telling them they had to “work” and generate profit if they wanted to eat, if they didn’t want their relatives killed, if they didn’t want to be hit. if a “client” paid for a “service,” they had to give it to him.

work work work work work never rape never prostitution always work, to little girls who had heard of prostitution but never “sex work,” who didn’t know what was happening was illegal, who were told that what was happening was normal, that it would stop hurting eventually because “it’s just work, look at all these other women doing it.”

there was a testimony by a pimp, who admitted to having kidnapped girls off the streets. he said he liked the power of bossing people around. he said he liked having so many “employees.”

normalizing prostitution and using “destigmatizing” language is not a new tactic to “empower” (prostituted) women. it’s something perpetrators of sex trafficking have been doing for years to hide the realities of the sex industry from young girls and keep them from seeing themselves as victims of a crime.

don’t call yourself a feminist if you’re unwilling to see the parallels between sex trafficking and “consensual sex work.”
