Women in South Korea are fighting against spycams, which men install to film them on the toilet and during sex. WHAT THE FUCK is “transphobic” or “terfy” about this?
Women (not only in SK, but world-wide) talking about our sex-based oppression is a threat to them, because they don’t care about women. They care about men and men, who say that they’re women.

It didn’t occur to me that a man would do this. There are a lot of implications in legally changing sex.
Trans activists have advocated for poorly designed policy that is easily abused due to it’s giant loopholes that are inherent in policy based on self identification of something difficult or impossible to measure.

If enough men do this they’ll drive rates up for women who can actually drive. Maybe a small issue in the face of sexual assault and shrinking positions for women in power but fuck it’s still an issue
I was thinking about this when this post first came across my dash the other night, but I was too incoherent to reply.
There’s a reason that men’s insurance rates are higher, regardless of age. Taking into consideration the economic inequalities that affect women, if enough men were to participate in this fraud, then it could potentially price the some women out of being able to afford insurance.
I have no idea what kind of numbers would affect this kind of change, but it’s not impossible.
I’ll be bitterly amused if this is what finally puts the brakes on this bullshit.
Law and society are just fine with rapists claiming to be women to get into women’s shelters, women’s changing rooms, shutting down women’s resources. No problems there. But impact the profits of the insurance industry? By god, they’ve gone too far!

I studied Islam for 4 years and it actually is awful so I feel very confident debating Muslims and talking about the negatives of Islam. However I do hate it when people talk about religions they know nothing about.

I personally hate all religions, I feel there is not one religion out there created by men that isn’t vastly misogynistic at its core. Taking away the act of creation and giving it to an male figure. No religion is feminist because they were all created to uphold belief that men rule over women. It is literally a part of the patriarchy. I am not familiar with all the intricacies of Islam but I do know that any religion made by a man upholds the same sexist beliefs it has for a millennia.
