MRAs, anti feminists, self proclaimed egalitarians and other misogynists often drag up the male suicide rate to try and win fights or ‘disprove’ feminism ignoring the higher female rates of suicide and the common methods of male suicide being more likely to kill (overdosing vs suicide by gun).
I have never seen them seriously talking about male suicide and men’s mental health. They always use it as a battering ram against feminism and women in general. They don’t care about mentally ill men or suicidal men they just want to shore up their power and feel better about their bruised egos.
