I wanted to write a long reply to this anon but everytime I started I would get filled with rage and needed to stop to cool down. Malala is from Pakistan, a third world country where women are considered as second class citizens. She was shot in the face for wanting an education. Her story caused a huge uproar about female education both in Pakistan and India. She is my idol. I want to help my country like she did to her’s. The reason I talk about trans rights is because I educated myself about trans issues. I wanted to know more about the LGBT community, I wanted to help my community. I wanted to feel safe in my country. Me and Malala come from very similar backgrounds but we are in different places in life. Her fight is to bring equal opportunity to girls and my fight is to bring equal opportunity to the LGBT community. I will fight for female rights too but right now my focus is on the LGBT community, this is what I’ve chosen to speak for. This is my decision. I see Malala as a mentor, I will fight like she does. I will conquer my fears like she did. She is not a terf. She is a feminist. The kind of feminist who I respect. I will support her. She is my sister. We are in this together. I will support women in third and second world countries with everything I’ve got. I want to bring change. I will bring change. Don’t soil Malala’s name by reducing her worth to a terf. She is fighting for women’s rights not for female supremacy. Good day.
