If I make the claim that dogs and cats are both mammals, I can give you a definition of what a mammal is then point out why they both fit that definition.

If I say a soccer player and a chess player are both athletes, I can tell you the word athlete is derived from the Greek athlos for compete. I say the chess player trains and studies and competes with all they’ve got just like a physical athlete.

If you tell me that a person with a penis and a person with a vagina are the same gender but can’t give me the barest shred of evidence as to what that means then it’s not my fault that I don’t believe you.
