The ask before this used the phrase “white woman desirability privilege” and I have no doubt that that’s exactly how the discourse is going to go. A hundred bucks says somebody tells me to shut up because this is just white supremacy backfiring on white women before the night is up.
As an ex Muslim id still say it’s mostly misogyny. And even if it’s not it doesn’t disprove the “you can’t be racist against white” rhetoric because that is a US centric rhetoric, it’s not necessarily applied to Europe and definitely not Syria or Saudi Arabia.
Islamic men hate westernization and see non Muslim women as “whores” because they aren’t forced to stay at home and restrict their lives to men and have their marriages and lives dictated by men. I’d say these attacks are about putting women in their place to them.

Hatred for, and the subjugation of women has always brought men together, across ethnicity, culture, religion, politics, you name it. The opportunity to abuse and control women has given men the opportunity to come together and consolidate power, despite their prejudices and hatred for each other. They tell us that we women hate each other the way they hate us, and they enforce that belief with media and social messages. They allow brief privileges to be extended to the most woman-hating women, but only to encourage other women to fall in line, of course; no reward from the patriarchy is ever really a reward. They pit us against each other so that we can’t unite the way they do. Don’t let them tell us who we are or how we feel about ourselves and our sisters. Don’t let woman-hating be the thing you can’t let go of; not when man-hating is so much more productive.
Maybe women would take more caution of how we dress and act in public to stop ourselves from being sexually harassed and abused if it actually worked for women from conservative or Islamic countries, where women are covered from head to toe and extremely cautious of how they behave in public… yet they are victimized at higher rates than any other place in the world. so maybe its not a modesty issue, maybe the only people at fault are sexual offenders
