Just a thought: more scientists are saying things like “gender is a spectrum” these days, but that’s because they have to. Educators are pressured into repeating “inclusive” gender rhetoric to avoid offending students. Academics risk being no-platformed or losing their jobs or being harassed if they say something that’s considered “offensive”. So when someone pulls out receipts of scientists saying “gender is a spectrum” it’s worth asking: what is at stake for them if they say otherwise?

And also, who is funding that research?

The liberal standpoint on the Chechen gay concentration camps is simple. While the roundup and persecution of gay men, that is, males primarily attracted to males, is noticed as horrific, liberals have used this escalating situation as political leverage when arguing for non-exclusive queer theory. They consider this usage not only ethical, but necessary, as well.

There lays the problem, when anyone other than the victims of genocide begin to claim relation to that experience, we enter territory that liberals consider open season. It’s no longer about the unique stress that homosexual people feel on a daily basis, in all walks of life, but instead, it becomes a ‘queer’ experience to be consumed and appropriated by anyone who claims that label.

The Chechens aren’t hunting people who don’t experience sexual attraction. The Chechens aren’t killing their children because they don’t consider themselves romantically inclined. The Chechens aren’t rounding up and torturing people for being non-binary. The Chechens are attempting to exterminate homosexual males. Men who have penises, who experience attraction to other men who have penises.

The specificity of that statement and the terminology used is just as important as the events it is describing. The language of these men, who share their experiences with the media and, in turn, you, is in relation to their experiences. The narratives they share are narratives unique to their experiences, and the experiences of homosexual people everywhere- they are not narratives to progress homophobic liberal ideologies, no matter how ‘gay friendly’ you may think they are.

I just want to break this down for myself and everyone else:

straight people with special snowflake syndromes are literally harming and even killing gays and lesbians by forcing their shit gender-identity-ideology onto young homosexual people who are suffering with trauma or constant homophobia and telling them that the answer to it all is to transition through making dangerous permanent alterations to their bodies. But transition is hardly ever the answer they seek because a) it doesn’t really address the trauma, b) 80% of trans kids don’t continue to ID as trans later on but a lot of them are gay, and c) the suicide rate does not necessarily go do down after transition – it’s complicated. Transition is just part of an ideology straight people want to insist is valid and important so that their special unique identity is as well.
That, is the homophobia of the transmovement.

fuck terf lists, fuck blacklisting, if your feminism was so fundamentally opposed to radical/gender critical ideas you could read it solely to round out your understanding of the debates currently happening and then you’d continue to disagree! refusing to even hear the name of a prominent radical feminist without shrieking ‘who i think is evil, by the way!!’ and deliberately banishing any hint of radical theory from your spaces is willful ignorance, promoting a total stagnation of critical thought and accelerating the downward spiral of gender + sexuality theory until it’s essentially a hate crime to turn someone down for sex but WHATEVER live your own lives!! you made your own beds of manipulative ideologies totally divorced from the human reality of innate sexuality and you can damn well lie in them!!

Planned Parenthood put up an article about the clitoris and there are people commenting saying its “cissexist”. Get the hell out of here. Women have been shamed for their anatomy for sooo long and now that there is a safe space to talk about it freely, they’re being “cissexist.” Women literally cannot even talk about their bodies anymore without being oppressive in some way. Fuck that.

I’ve never understood on what grounds female organs are “cissexist” just for existing anyway. It could literally be a diagram of a clitoris with zero text, and someone would scream cissexism. Like. It exists. The clitoris exists in this universe and here is a diagram of it. It’s great. It’s female.
Im starting to think that when a person calls out “cissexism” they’re merely pointing out anything that isn’t male. That’s all.

Fuck off. Fuck off forever.

Our very female existence is transphobic to them because they want us to cater to their laydee dicks.

When I was a transactivist libfem, cissexism meant equating vagina with women and penis with men. now just the mention of these genitals without any mention of men or women is cissexism. what’s considered cissexist/transphobic is becoming broader and broader with time, erasing female anatomy and experiences entirely. I really hope this shit helps libfems wake up.

From what I’ve seen they think if you say female anatomy is female and male anatomy is male it is ‘cissexist‘. (Not a real word or concept).

Transactivists and their allies misuse language and have clumsy reasoning skills. They often misuse the term equating when they mean associating. They get indignant when someone associating female anatomy with women and male anatomy with men. They don’t care what the context is, what your positions are or if you just stated a fact without drawing any conclusions from it. They just want to get indignant over their own misunderstanding of feminism and reality itself.

when it comes to gender oppression issues, the focus has to be on how society perceives someone, rather than how someone perceives themselves. this is the difference between a materialist analysis and the quicksand pit of postmodernist individualism

A friend of mine is a professor at a well known college(in a “progressive town”). She happens to teach women’s studies. However, I started seeing things she pinned on Pinterest. Mainly articles talking about “terfs”,queer theory, and other libfem ideals. She used these in her classes.I thought to myself it’s kinda scary this women is passing on this information and violence towards women and not even batting an eye.

That’s so fucked. It is very scary. I haven’t encountered this in school yet but I’m afraid every quarter……….

Does anybody have any advice for anon?
