I want to use this opportunity to discuss how Sasha Grey is a victim/survivor of sex trafficking. 

Now an ex porn star, Grey says that she was lured into porn by her abusive ex-boyfriend. Her ex had told her he was a CIA spy and had abused her physically and sexually starting when she was 16 and he was 29. So not only was she a victim/survivor of sex trafficking and pimping, but of CHILD sex trafficking and sexual violence against children. 

The ex’s name is Ian Cinnamon, and Grey broke up with him in 2012 and quit porn. She has since gotten a court restraining order against him due to continuous harassment, including him sending her pictures of himself holding handguns. 

So, liberal feminists can stop using Sasha Grey (her real name is Marina Hantzis) as justification for supporting the porn industry as somehow “empowering for women”. Stop pretending that rape, coercion, and other forms of violence don’t regularly occur in this industry. Stop getting off to it. Stop getting off to women being raped. Rape & porn culture needs to die. Violence against women needs to stop.

Nope. The report rate is definitely higher than that of Pakistan but of actual rape, no. Countless women in Pakistan get raped on the first day of their marriage. They are told by their moms and aunts to just “take it” and “let him do what he wants” etc. this post is horrific and ignoring the suffering that brown women face. So many women in Pakistan don’t even know exactly what sex is until they get married because there is literally no sex education, it’s such a taboo. So many women believe it’s a sin to tell your husband no in bed. So much ignorance.

My sister in law who was completely raised in Pakistan told me of a woman who when she got married didn’t know what was happening when her husband “approached” her. She fainted and woke up with blood. This story is not unique. The woman is still married to him and has kids. This is Pakistani rape culture.

That includes molestation, assault of any degree, for all victims of any sex or age.  

Because I don’t care what any of you say;  No matter how much time has passed, that victim will remember that event like it happened five minutes ago and they will be /haunted/ by it for the rest of their lives.  

There is absolutely NO reason why the assailant should be able to life free and unpunished if they just wait long enough.
