#staywithyoursister and help prevent sexual assault
IF YOU SEE SOMEONE
-PASSED OUT
-DRUNK
-HIGH
-LOOKING UNCOMFORTABLEstep in! a few minutes of embarrassment if you read the situation wrong is much better than abandoning someone in desperate need!
Don’t abandon your friends. If you see a passed out stranger, stay with her until you find her friends. Don’t get drunk with people you don’t know or dont trust completely.

Please, educate yourself, do some research on the topic. Native women are targeted everyday as a lingering result of the colonial mindset. Racism is still in action through loopholes in the system. White people in power are still trying to kill the indian and save the man. All is connected; our women especially are suffering from the consequences of people not knowing that.
Bring it up at dinner.

One of the creepiest things I remember seeing was on YouTube. I don’t know if they still allow you to see statistics on video viewership but I was watching this video of women’s self defence about how to escape rape. And the majority of viewers watching this video tutorial for how women can escape rape was mostly viewed by men.
Like what a sinking guy wrenching feeling that was seeing that.
Like is this something most men do? Look up ways women try to protect themselves against rape? Like so they can anticipate how she might struggle?
🤢🤢

Poor girl
