Yes he was a master manipulator and I can’t tell you what his motivations were in that interview. Attention? Sympathy? Shifting the blame to the media? Who knows but I honestly don’t doubt that he was speaking some truth when what he was saying is just observable reality. Violence and pornography is everywhere in the media, it is readily available to children and it effects their levels of violence and attitudes towards women.
Well, if a serial murderer and rapist agreed with something I thought, I would try to distance myself from that person. Even if it was proven that I was right, I would not want to be associated with someone who committed such evil actions. You see, I’m a good person.
