These 8 Characters Are Definitely Going To Die

Because the ghosts of our Puritan forbearers still haunt us.

Accurate post is accurate.

The second one isn’t about punishment for “expressing sexuality“ (dishonest framing) it is about misogyny. Stop reducing misogyny to ‘puritanism’ it is trying to pretend misogyny comes from religion not men. I live in a country that isn’t particularly religious and the misogyny here is horrible so stop blaming religion for everything (not defending religion). Men are the ones who created misogyny, patriarchal religion and the resulting tropes so blame men instead of vaguely referring to puritanism.

I can guarantee the porn industry is even worse (yet that is somehow ‘progressive’ despite it’s long history of rape, abuse, racism and misogyny). Getting naked on screen is about appealing to the male audience not women “expressing their sexuality” (obvious bullshit).

The women in the film industry are pressured to go nude and they can’t really say no or it hurt their chances of being in the film industry. The male movie makers create this dilemma for actresses in the first place.

Feminist vandals are giving this beach body ad the upgrade it deserves

Commuters on the London Underground this month were treated to a series of advertisements for U.K. dietary supplement manufacturer Protein World, featuring their “weight loss collection” alongside an ultra-thin woman with the caption: “Are you beach body ready?“ The U.K.’s feminist community was less than receptive to this obvious shaming tactic — and made their voices heard. There are plenty more where the above came from.
